We are on a mission to create a more diverse, inclusive, and integrated community of technical professionals. Our ambition is to reach 10.000 newcomers with a 50/50 program gender ratio and a 70% Employment rate by 2030.

š§āš« Our classroom-based, personalized programs provide the in-demand, cloud skills that newcomers need to (re)start their careers. We also pair participants with 1 on 1 with a Mentor, provide job coaching, soft skills training, and build a network of like-minded professionals to find opportunities in the job market. After the program, we work with our network of partners, customers, and local employers to attain successful employment for program alumni.

Responsibilities
About the roleļ»æ
- AWS re/Start is an instructor-led, synchronously delivered program
- The program is up to 12-16 weeks long, full time (7 to 8 hours per day) unless otherwise approved by the AWS re/Start team
- All material in the curriculum offered by AWS must be consumed by learners during the program delivery with the assistance of the instructor
- Freelance for a single commitment or part-time for multiple cohort commitments
- ļ»æTraining Delivery: Ensure the complete AWS re/Start Curriculum us delivered for a group of 15-20 participants per cohort in a classroom-based setting
- All trainings are delivered in person
- Programming can be flexible depending on the training schedule and your availability
- Learner Journey: Measure the progress of all participants through quizzes, exercises, team challenges, individual feedback, and one-on-one sessions as per the program curriculum.
- Learner Certification: Strengthen the skills and knowledge of each participant and prepare them for success in achieving the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.Ā

- You get $hit done.Ā As a start-up, not everything is figured out (yet) and you will be a key member of the team. We need you to be comfortable in this fast-paced environment, lean into the ambiguity, and ultimately take action independently to make things better.
- You are Community-driven. One of our key values is connecting newcomers to the local professional community of learners and practitioners. It is essential to engage with the local AWS/Tech Community in this role through events, meetups, and conferences.
Technical Requirements
- AWS SysOps Administrator ā Associate certification or AWS Solution Architect ā Associate Certification active through the duration of instruction. AWS Professional level certifications in Solution Architect or DevOps are also accepted. No other certifications (AWS or others) are considered equivalent and satisfying those requirements.Ā
- One year experience as the primary instructor responsible for teaching and managing the course as Primary Instructor in the class. The class should be technical in nature, focused on IT content covering at least three of the five areas mentioned below:
- Linux Operating System
- Scripting languages such as Shell and Python
- Networking and Security conceptsĀ
- Relational Databases
- DevOps Concept and Processes
Optional, but nice to have:Ā
- Enterprise workload experience on AWS services
- Experience teaching AWS content to enterprise customers
- Comptia / Cisco / Salesforce Certifications
- Teaching Technical content to a non-technical audience
- 2 yearsā experience teaching and/or working closely with unemployed or underemployed individuals.
Other Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Ā
- Familiarity with Google Cloud (Gmail, Drive & Slides)Ā
- Excellent verbal communication and written skills in English is a must
- Willingness to travel and be on site to deliver training programs
- Experience in workshop facilitation, training delivery, or end-user training
- Hourly compensation depending on experience
- You must be located in the EU and have the right to work in the EU - we are unable to offer visa sponsorships at this time
